LIME SPIRULINA AND CHILLI TARTS

Ingredients

For the base:

  • 60g almonds
  • 60g oats
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 3 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp coconut sugar
  • Pinch of sea salt

For the filling:

  • 1 large avocado
  • 2 tbsp maple/agave syrup
  • Pinch of chilli
  • Juice and zest of 1 lime
  • 1 tbsp spirulina powder
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

Method

Base:

  1. Blend oats, almonds and salt
  2. Add turmeric, coconut sugar and coconut oil
  3. Pop in the freezer to set

Filling:

  1. Blend avocado, lime zest, juice, coconut oil and syrup
  2. Set in the fridge for 1 hour
  3. Enjoy!
